This keto nacho bar recipe is a fun and easy way to get your family’s keto diet on the go. It’s made with dark chocolate and the perfect blend of vegetables to be a filling, delicious snack. Each serving has 4 grams of fiber to keep you full and satisfied.

A ketogenic diet or low carb diet is the latest and greatest weight loss craze. While not as popular as the keto diet, the low carb diet is just as popular. The diet explains that you should be consuming at least 50 grams of carbs a day. If you want to follow a low carb diet, you’ll want to eat as many low carb foods as possible. One thing that you can do to obtain a lot of low carb food in your diet is to make keto nacho bars.

Being keto in a household that doesn’t always share my same commitment to the fat-fueled lifestyle creates challenges. In addition, feeding a crowd that also doesn’t eat low carb can make coming up with meal ideas that please everyone difficult. That said, I think I’ve found the solution to make a meal everyone’s able to tweak to their own tastes!

This make-your-own-nacho bar is such an easy keto meal idea you can adapt to any lifestyle!

The prep is super simple.

You need to brown up some ground beef with taco seasoning and made a big pan of insanely yummy queso sauce. It only took about 15 minutes (active cooking time).

After those two components were set, arrange the other toppings for our DIY nacho bar. Our fixings included sliced pickled jalapenos (highly recommend these!), diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, salsa, fresh cilantro, sour cream, shredded lettuce, guacamole, and shredded cheese. As far as toppings go, it’s really up to you and your group’s tastes.

Topping ideas for your low carb nacho bar!

  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Pickled (or fresh) sliced jalapeños
  • Cooked diced chicken
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Chopped green onions
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Sliced black olives
  • Low Carb Salsa
  • Cooked ground beef
  • Diced avocado

A bag of tortilla chips or fajita shells are tasty bases for the non-keto eaters, while a pile of shredded lettuce is perfect for me. It’s just like my favorite restaurant hack for chip less nachos!

Most of the toppings can be placed in serving bowls in advance, which makes it super convenient. If you’re providing chicken or ground beef, you’ll probably want to serve that warm, so you’d need to prepare that while the tortillas are baking.

This DIY keto nacho bar is always a HUGE success for the large group, as everyone got to assemble their idea plate of nachos and dinner was on the table in no time. It’s simple, customizable, and oh so yummy!

A note about carb count! It’s not provided for this keto Nacho Bar as there are just WAY too many variables. The first starts with the low carb tortillas, and their net carb count. Also, the amount of toppings that you provide and then serve per nacho are very hard to estimate!

Next time you need an easy weeknight meal or dinner idea to feed a large group, give the make-your-own keto nacho bar a shot. Your family and/or dinner guests will love you for it!
