Turkey burgers are much leaner than hamburgers, but they can be dry and dull. The idea is to emphasize condiments, and keep the turkey moist.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Gordon Ramsay make turkey burgers?

A: Gordon Ramsay’s technique for making them is to add a 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce, 1 tablespoon each honey and Worcestershire sauce, 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard, and the juice from half a lemon. Then he will mix in ground turkey with bread crumbs. He then fries them up to serve on buns that have been soaked in milk.

How do you keep turkey burgers from falling apart?

A: You can put them in a sandwich. Try adding some dry breadcrumbs to the turkey mixture before you shape the patties. The crumbs will absorb the moisture and, together with the egg, will act like glue and help your burgers maintain their shape on the grill.

How should a turkey burger be cooked?

A: The best way to cook a turkey burger is on an outdoor grill. If you do not have access to an outdoor grill, the second best option would be oven baking or pan frying it.

Is it possible for me to customize my own?

Absolutely! We clearly adore ours just the way they are, but there are a couple changes you can make that!

What if you don’t have Worcestershire sauce?

Soy sauce or even liquid smoke may be used! Replace the parsley with other herbs you have on hand, or add some finely chopped shallots with your garlic. More flavors, such as paprika, chili powder, or ground mustard, may be added. This burger may be made in a variety of ways.

Why is ours the best?

Ours is one of my favorites for one simple reason: we leave it alone. We made no attempt to hide the fact that it was turkey. We, on the other hand, welcomed it. We pulled out the flavors of the turkey and turned it into the finest turkey burger ever. Because turkey burgers tend to be dry, we used an egg to help them stick together and provide moisture. We also use 94 percent lean ground turkey, and any greater than that would cause the burgers to fall apart.
