If you’re following a keto diet, you know that eating the same thing day in and day out can get a bit boring. That’s why I’ve created these make-ahead keto snack boxes in 3 different flavors. Each box has 6-8 lunch and dinner ideas. These keto snack boxes are super easy to make, and they’ll be a huge help for a keto dieter like yourself!
When I first got started eating keto snacks, I used to buy them from the store. It was pretty expensive, so I decided to try making my own to save money. After all, it’s just snacks. And you know what, I’m pretty proud of the results! These keto snack boxes are well-rounded, easy to make, and low in carbs. They’re especially great if you’re on the go.
It’s time for a snack!
When you start a new diet or lifestyle, there are a few key moments when your willpower can falter and things can go wrong. When you get to the point of starvation, it’s usually too late to do the right thing.
Snacks play an important role in compliance, but buying ready-to-eat snacks can be expensive. These creative, colorful lunch boxes are full of protein and good fats, so you’ll feel satisfied while consuming low carbs.
Here’s how this simple idea works!
Prepare snacks for the whole week at a snack bar and enjoy them throughout the week. I cook on Sunday afternoons and prepare enough for myself and my husband for the entire work week. Sure, it’s not a new concept, but it’s a candy tip that will make your week go smoothly.
Step 1 – Buy an airtight snack container!
Start with small plastic or glass containers that stack well. I like these Glad Entrance containers because they are flat and stack well, but there are many other inexpensive options.
Then I take out all the snacks and cook them all at once. I chop the cucumbers and celery, crack open the olives and cheese, boil the hard-boiled eggs, etc. In short, everything I need to fill these boxes is ready. – In short, everything I need to fill these boxes is ready.
Step 2 – Fill the trays with tasty keto friendly snacks!
Then start packing your boxes with a mix of items chosen according to your preferences. I use cheap paper muffin tins to separate the pieces and keep them whole. The advantage of this method is that you can choose the items you like and combine them with different family members. I even have two trays with different brands and different colored lids, because he loves meat and hates olives and I hate meat and love olives. Take a look at other keto snack boxes ideas:

- Pack with: 1/2 avocado, cucumber slices, French onion dip, string cheese
- Net carbs: 9 grams
Almonds, macadamias and even pine nuts make a great protein rich low carb snack. Just make sure you exercise portion control because carbs can add up quickly with nuts.
4. Pepperoni Picnic Box
Grazing is one of the easiest ways to eat keto. Pack up some meats, veggies, and cheese and pretend you’re dining al fresco. Plus, you’ll take any excuse to eat French onion dip at lunchtime, right?

Besides these keto snack boxes, you can also make delicious snack mixes with some of the products suggested above. Personally, I add Dang coconut shavings, nuts and Lily’s dark chocolate chips to the bag – it’s so good when you’re craving something sweet!
By preparing everything at once, you can be free from stress of ditching your keto diet. If one is preparing these keto snack boxes ahead than you can go shopping once a week and use large size snack bags and save more money.
