It is a very classic and popular treat that is very easy to make and very delicious. It is made of breaded and deep fried cornmeal that is made into the shape of a dog.
Well, I finally decided to put together a corn dog recipe to share with you. I’ve always been a fan of these treats. They are so delicious. If I could eat them every day, I would.
These delectable, simple-to-make treats are much better than the ones you’ll find at a fair or carnival. Hot dogs are dipped in a cornmeal batter and deep-fried to create this famous American snack. It’s a fantastic meal that both children and adults will enjoy. To create a full dinner, pair them with grilled corn on the cob, macaroni salad, mac & cheese, grilled vegetables, coleslaw, or a green salad.

What are the Best Corn Dog Sticks?
The perfect corn dog stick should be thick enough to hold the frankfurter’s weight. For your homemade corn dogs, medium-thick bamboo skewers, popsicle sticks, and even chopsticks would suffice. There are even specific corn dog sticks available, which you should be able to purchase online.
How to Make them so that they don’t Crack
Air bubbles in the batter rupture while the corn dogs are cooking, causing cracking. To help prevent this, tap the batter a few times to release any trapped air bubbles. Then, when it’s time to coat the hot dogs, dip them immediately into the batter. Swirl it as you pull it out of the batter. If you see any gaps or bubbles, re-dip the frankfurter in the batter. Finally, before frying the corn dogs, make sure the oil is sufficiently hot. This will prevent them from breaking.
How to Make the Best Homemade ones–
— For the finest texture in your batter, use fine yellow cornmeal. Avoid medium and coarse textures.
— For added convenience, prepare the batter up to 2 days ahead of time.

– Preheat the oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Before you begin frying, use a candy thermometer to check the temperature.
— Serve with ketchup, spicy mayo, or honey mustard dip on the side.
– Do you have any tiny sausages? It’s possible to create tiny corn dogs! Cook for around 2 minutes.
